Talia, Jaime, and Ashley were invited to the Thanksgiving Interregional
Event in Boca Raton, Florida which will take place on November 23-30, 2002. There is an
article on the USYSA site describing this competition. There
were three games; Tuesday 11/26, Thursday 11/28, and Saturday 11/30.
In October, Ashley was selected to play for the new
U17 National Team which played in the same venue against 1985
Regional teams, and the U17 National Team from Scotland. |

In addition to ex-Spirit players Jaime and Talia, Massachusetts was well
represented at the Boca Raton event. Also on the 1986 team was Katie
Coffey from Western United, and the unbeaten 1985 team featured three key
players from the Stars of Massachusetts, Niki Cross, Randi-Lynn Bruso, and
Courtni Joyner. |
